* Papad ki Sabji *
2 big-sized moong-urad dal mix papads
1 tbsp ghee or oil
4 tbsp yogurt
1/2 tsp roasted cumin seed powder
1/2 tsp coriander seed powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Chrushed kasoori methi for garnishing (optional)
Blend the yogurt and masala powders to a smooth paste.
Heat the ghee or oil in a heavy kadai. Add the masala
paste and saute over medium-low heat for 5 minutes,
stirring continuously.
Break the papads into bite-sized pieces. Add to the
masala paste along with salt and 1/2 cup water. Cook
over medium-low heat for 3-4 minutes.
Garnish and serve hot with baatis.
